Just £20  a month provides food, clothing, shelter, protection and education for each child.

We are grateful for all donations to our work, however small. In order to provide the best experience possible in the short term, and truly help our children escape the poverty cycle please consider a monthly sponsorship of a child.

Most of our children come from severely disadvantaged backgrounds and without the support of Tumaini Children's Charity could easily find themselves on the streets, and certainly without the food, protection and education we are able to provide for them. Please help us break their cycle of poverty by sponsoring today.

YOU PROBABLY CAN'T CHANGE THE WORLD, BUT YOU CAN CHANGE SOMEONE'S WORLD

Amina.jpeg

Amina's Story

Amina, one of the bright young girls at Tumaini, has faced more than her share of challenges. Despite this, she is filled with gratitude for the support she receives. Rather than focusing on her past, Amina expressed her appreciation in a truly touching way. She gifted Jess, one of our committee members, a bracelet with her name on it—one of her few precious possessions.

This simple act of kindness speaks volumes about Amina’s resilient spirit and the positive impact of the Tumaini community. By supporting children like Amina, you help provide the safety, care, and opportunities they need to thrive.

So many of our children come from families who lack even the most basic necessities of life. Some don't even have a family. Your sponsorship can make a world of difference, offering hope and a brighter future. We hope you will feel you can contribute.

Meet David

Meet David, a remarkable young man who has been a beacon of hope and healing at our Tumaini. David’s early years were marked by adversity and hardship, as he faced challenges that no child should ever have to endure. Despite these trials, a simple but profound moment changed his life forever. He heard someone singing songs of comfort, and the music resonated deeply within him, bringing a sense of peace.

Inspired by this experience, David taught himself to play music, transforming his pain into beautiful, healing music. His talent and passion blossomed as he began composing his own songs, each one a testament to his resilience and strength.

During his time with us, David has not only excelled academically as our head student but has also been a source of pastoral care and emotional support for his peers. Through his music and his kindness, he has touched countless lives, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence to those in need. Your sponsorship can make a world of difference, offering hope and a brighter future.
